HandyCache (HC) - is a free program that saves bandwidth, faster loading pages, blocks ads and allows offline (not connected to the Internet) to view any previously visited sites. HandyCache is a caching proxy server similar with the famous Squid but it does not need any special skill to run. But if you are familiar with Squid caching script, it will be very simple to do it in HandyCache.

It reduces traffic to 3-4 times due to cache: once loaded pages (or files) are written to the cache and the next request is taken from the cache rather than from the Internet - at the expense of the saved and the traffic and loading time. HandyCache can cache any files transmitted on the HTTP protocol - even those browsers do not cache.

Either your web browser (and other programs) can use the HandyCache, and hence there is no need to download the same page multiple times to view in different browsers. Moreover, even without an Internet connection, you can view the previously visited pages and uploaded files.

HandyCache highly configurable and depending on the URL (address) and file type (extension) or can take it from the cache, or always from the internet or checking their presence in the Online newer version of the file, and can even block it from loading (advertising and other unwanted content sites) - and that's not the whole list of possible actions.

WinSCP is a SFTP client acclaimed, FTP and SCP open source. With an interface similar to Explorer or Total Commander (you can choose between the two), WinSCP is fast and rock solid.

Solusi bagi pengguna SmartFren yang belakangan ini terasa sangat lambat. Dari hasil analisa saya yang juga pengguna SmartFren, SmartFren seminggu terakhir lambat karena koneksi internasionalnya sedang bermasalah. Saya berkesimpulan demikian setelah melakukan "ping" ke DNS google yang memang sering RTO (Request Time Out) sedangkan untuk koneksi lokal aman-aman saja.
